ScanSticker Go Cookie Notice
Effective date: October 25, 2026
1. What this notice covers
This notice explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on the web pages ScanSticker LLC runs for ScanSticker Go: the page a scanned equipment sticker opens (at an address beginning https://s.scansticker.com/), the service request form and the invoice payment page, and, once they open, the customer page reached by a private link, the estimate approval page and the pages on our website where a shop's owner subscribes to ScanSticker Go and manages billing.
The ScanSticker Go iPhone app uses no cookies.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information more broadly.
2. What cookies and similar storage are
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Similar tools, such as your browser's local storage, keep small amounts of information on your device in the same way. Some last only until you close the browser; others stay for a set time.
3. What our pages use
Our pages use only what they need to work. They set no cookies of their own.
| Purpose | Set by | Name and how long |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping the invoice payment page working after you open its private link, including when Stripe sends you back after paying | ScanSticker | Session storage item scansticker.pay, which holds the link's code, in that browser tab only. Kept until you close the tab |
| Taking a card payment, and preventing payment fraud, on Stripe's own payment page, which our invoice payment page opens | Stripe | Set by Stripe on its own site. See Stripe's own cookie and privacy notices |
The sticker page and the service request form use no cookies or browser storage. If a request fails to send, the page comes back with what you typed already filled in. The form is also protected by limits our servers apply, such as a cap on how many requests one network address can send. Those limits do not store anything in your browser.
The customer page, the estimate approval page and the pages where a shop's owner subscribes and manages billing are not open yet. We will add what they use to this notice before they open.
4. What our pages do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking, and no tools that follow you to other websites.
- No analytics cookies, social media pixels or tracking scripts.
- No sale of information collected through cookies.
If an analytics or marketing tool is ever added to these pages, this notice changes first.
5. How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser's settings. Because our pages use only what they need to work, blocking them may stop the invoice payment page (and, once they open, the customer page, estimate approval and subscription pages) from working. Blocking Stripe's cookies may stop a payment from going through.
Closing the browser tab clears the payment page's session storage. Once customer pages are offered, a customer page link will stop working 90 days after it is sent, and you can ask the shop that sent it to switch it off sooner.
Browser privacy signals. We do not track you across websites, so signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track have nothing further to turn off on our pages.
6. Changes to this notice
If we change what our pages use, we will update this notice and its effective date before the change takes effect.
